Colleges use the essay as a sort of "interview" to get to know you.
They use the essays to put a face on the application so that they can have a diverse student body.
A college essay can determine whether a student is accepted into a college.
I help you discover your personal identity and express it persuasively in writing.

I also have years of professional writing experience as a lawyer.

If you do not know what to write about, that is normal.
I meet with you to discover your personal identity and express it authentically and strategically.
3. How does the process work?
I first with you in-person to get to know you.
I work at all stages of writing, from brainstorming, to revising, to polishing.
After the initial session, you work with me through email and exchange drafts.
Testimonials
"Applying to Ivy League schools is a long shot and therefore you must give your BEST SHOT! My son and I are very grateful to have found and used Will's service to coach in preparing the personal statement in the Common Application. As time is of the essence, Will's timely communication and excellent writing coach abilities made it possible for my son to submit his application prior to the deadline and with so much confidence. I sincerely encourage students and parents to invest!!!" -Marjorie Santos, parent of senior at Fontana High School, California
"I am applying to UCLA and UC Berkeley engineering. I had many friends review my essays, before I saw Will, but I was still not confident in them. So I enlisted Will's coaching services and sought his help in the morning. After working with him, I gleefully came back to my house, after finally being able to see my mistakes. Throughout the entire day he helped me and even at midnight, answered my last few petty questions since I am a perfectionist. Working with him is a blast and he always responds quickly to any of your questions. I truly recommend other students to go over your personal statements with Will. You won't regret it."
